Notice at Collection

This notice describes the personal information Keeping Family Ties (“KFT”) may collect when you create an account, sign in, complete a profile, submit a form, or add family content. Read the complete Privacy Policy for more detail.

Categories we collect and why

• Identifiers and account data: name, email, telephone number, postal address, authentication identifiers, and session information—to create, authenticate, secure, and support accounts.
• Family and profile data: relationships, family memberships, birth dates, important dates, profile details, and information another authorized family member provides—to organize and connect a family.
• User content and communications: messages, photos, videos, documents, notes, recipes, gifts, prayer requests, gatherings, invitations, emergency information, and attachments—to provide features selected by users.
• Sensitive information: account credentials, precise location if supplied, message contents, health or religious information users choose to include, and derived face-reference information when photo organization is enabled—to provide the requested private-family feature. Do not add sensitive information unless necessary and authorized.
• Device and activity data: browser/device details, IP address, logs, notifications, errors, and security events—to operate, troubleshoot, and protect KFT.
• Contacts and third-party imports: only information a user chooses or authorizes—to add relatives, invitations, photos, documents, or recipes.

Sale, sharing, and advertising

KFT does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. KFT does not use private family content for targeted advertising.

Retention

Account and family content is generally kept while the account or family service remains active, until an authorized user deletes it, and for a limited backup, security, dispute, or legal-compliance period afterward. Authentication and security logs are retained only as reasonably needed for security and troubleshooting. Legal acceptance and transaction records may be kept as required to document agreements and comply with law. Detailed periods are described in the Privacy Policy and may vary by record and legal obligation.

Your choices

Choose the audience before sharing family content. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or other applicable rights through Privacy Choices. KFT honors legally required browser signals, including Global Privacy Control, where applicable; because KFT does not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising, no opt-out changes are ordinarily necessary.
